I am a New York- and New Jersey-licensed psychologist practicing in northern New Jersey. I am also a certified psychoanalyst. My practice consists of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, where I conducted doctoral research on attachment (published in the International Journal of Behavioral Development).
In addition, I earned an MA in Forensic Psychology from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a certificate in group analytic psychotherapy from the Institute of Group Analysis, London, UK in conjunction with the School of Psychotherapy at St. Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
I'm currently affiliated with Blanton-Peale Institute & Counseling Center, where I am the assistant director of the psychoanalytic training program, as well as a training faculty member and supervisor.
My interests include transference and countertransference in personality disorders, developmental psychoanalytic theory, Freudian and Lacanian theory, French psychoanalysis more broadly, and the intersection of psychoanalysis and the arts.
I'm fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian and French.
I am not currently taking new patients, but I am available for clinical supervision and clinical and supervisory consultations.
